The Difference Between a House and a Home

A house and a home sound the same but they are very different. A home is a place where you feel loved and supported. A house has a roof and walls. A home is where your family takes care of you. A house can’t do any of that, not even on its best days. You can sit and have a cup of hot cocoa as you smell Mom’s best cookies from across the room. It smells like peacefulness in the air. A house has rooms but they might not mean a lot to you.
