Home is a Place

The front door, a place were people play games galore, where outside memories are held and more. Flowers and bugs to bee, a perfect place to see. The kitchen, a place of laughter and food; maybe water in a glass just for you. The sound of dishes in the wash being cleaned with just a cloth. Maybe a place of chatter and it really does matter. The living room, a place where most memories are made. A place of clutter and chatter and all of it matters. Video games and board games to play everyday. The bedrooms, a place of sleep and a place you should keep neat. A place of play and a place you stay. The place to be and sleep for a dream. The bathroom, a place to get clean and a place not fit for a dream. Maybe a place to wash your hands and just stay in the sand. A place of soap to clean your knee. It smells like a clean place to be. The backyard, a place of comfort and a place to run, maybe you may just have fun. A place for a fire you can desire. A hole and a play bucket of hose water. The TV room, a place to stay just for a show or two, a place of toys and probably a kind place of joy. Frames hung on the wall where pictures can tell you it all. The loud people and a calming cup of tea, that’s the greatest place to be. Home is a place were most people roam, you can always count on family to be your comfort zone. It's not just a roof over four walls, it is all of these; a great place to call home.
