My Home Is In My House

I am lucky to have a house and a home. I am lucky because some people don’t have a house or a safe, loving home. Home is not about having 4 walls and a roof over your head, it’s about the people in the house. My house is filled with all sorts of emotions like frustration, joy, sadness, boredom, love and so many more emotions. The older people get and move out and start families the more they realize how important home is because they have to take care of their own. The difference between a house and a home is you don’t need a house to make a home. The thing I love most about my home is the love we share with each other. But sometimes I feel alone since my whole family is working, my mum, dad, sister and my brother. It can be kind of nice to decompress after school alone. In conclusion, home feels like a lot of things but mostly a safe place.
