Why a Heart?
When I heard that we were doing
this project I thought of doing a shape poem
in a shape of a house. Then I thought why would I
do that? When I was little, I thought of a home as
my house. But then I moved, I moved again, and
then I moved again. But this time it wasn't
just to another street, it was to another
continent. Now, when someone asks me,
'What is a a home?' I don't say, 'My
home is my house.' I say, 'My home
is my family, my friends,
traditions, a safe place,
and of course...
LOVE!'
