In my humble home, I took my very first steps And said my first word Home is my haven Years of growth, marked on my wall I sprouted and thrived The door of my home Unlocks possibilities Family's my key Nothing restricts me Just like home’s more than four walls My true self comes through I play a sweet tune Music fills my living room Warming up our hearts Chats during dinner Loud laughter echoes the room Highlight of my day But, an empty chair Now untouched in the kitchen Once bustled with life Each fond memory Brings your love back to this home And keeps you with me Soon, trees in my yard Will grow taller just like me Home is always there
