Home to Me

I feel most at home at my Nan’s house. It is extremely hot just like the sun. I can see two cats. One cat is orange and its name is Peaches and the other one is brown its name is Hazel. Hazel likes to eat and she also loves running up and down the stairs. She loves laying on my Nan's bed too with Peaches underneath it. The cats feel rough like sandpaper. My favourite memory at my Nan’s house was when one of my Nan's friends surprised me, and my brothers Jayden and Lenix with new bikes. We jumped up and down with excitement. The rest of the day we spent riding up and down the hill right beside my Nan’s. I felt the sun on my face and rain dripping down my arm which was cooling me down. I could hear raindrops and my brothers having fun. I saw my brothers racing down the hill and complaining about the rain. The next day we went to visit our friends with our new bikes. My friends thought that the bikes looked cool. Jayden’s bike is a mountain bike. I was riding down the hill and I heard my aunt Lori yell “Watch out for the hole”, but it was too late. I fell into the hole and I felt pain in my knees, my chin and my hands. I looked at my hands and saw blood. It hurt like getting cut with a knife. My Nan's home is a special place for fun and special memories. That is home to me.
