What Home Means To Me

What Home Means To Me By Enoch For me my house is my home. There are a lot of things in my house that remind me of memories. For example, one of the things I use the most is my Nintendo Switch and I have a lot of memories playing Mario kart 8 deluxe. Another example is my sofa. My sofa is where I slept for a long time and where I slept after my surgery. Finally, I think one of the most important things in my house is my kindle. A kindle is an electronic book that you can read anything on. This is important to me because when I had to lie on my sofa all day after my surgery, I would always read when I had nothing to do. I always read the Harry Potter books on it. Currently I am on the 5th last page of the final book. But i still always read on my kindle before I sleep. In my house I am almost always the first to get home, and when I get home I start playing video games. When my door opens I can hear from my room, and that clicking sound always reminds me that my sister or parents are home. Another thing is that I will always have the muscle memory of holding down w on my keyboard to move in video games. One of my favorite snacks are jalapeno flavoured cheetos. I probably eat them once a month and the taste of it always reminds me of the summer break when I play video games and eat jalapeno cheetos. These memories I've been talking about are why I think everyone deserves a home. Everybody should be able to enjoy the taste of cheetos and play mario kart. It is crazy to me that one in EIGHT people in Canada still don't have a home. That's around 4 million people in Canada, but even worse, around 1.4 BILLION PEOPLE don't have a home in the world. This is for me just unimaginable that more than 1 billion people don't have a good place to live in.
