A Home Is Not A House BY: Natalya A home is not a house because a house is just somewhere you live but a home is somewhere safe and a place you recognize and where you feel happy. Most houses have a living room with a couch but my home has a couch where once a week me and my family watch a movie together. Every weekend me and my dad watch The Simpsons together. Most houses have a bedroom with a bed but my home has a bed where when I was little my mom would read stories to me for a while to help me fall asleep. Most houses have a laundry room with a dryer and a washer but my home has a washer and a dryer where I help to do laundry twice a week. Most houses have a kitchen with an oven but my home has an oven where every Christmas we all help make Christmas dinner and we would watch the dinner in the oven. Most houses have a dining room with a dining table but my home has a dining room table where every day we eat together at the table and tell each other about our day. Most homes have a bathroom but my home has a bathroom where every day we brush our teeth together. A home is not a house.
