What Home Means to Me

Home means the birthday parties that go on and the laughter and love we share. Home is a safe place for me and my family to live. Home is the pictures of you and your brothers on Christmas Day. Home is where my mother plays her music while cooking and cleaning all day. Home is about the memories you make and where there are no judgmental comments to be made. A home is were laughter spreads like a wildfire when I play crazy 8’s with my family all night. Home is spending time watching a movie you all like or trying something new. Home is where you have a picnic on your front lawn with your family and make sandwiches with your mother’s homemade bread. A home is where your dog taps her toes on the floor and licks your face when you fall on the ground. A home is where you're loved and wanted. A home is where your thoughts are shared and where everyone cares.
