Echoes of HOME

My suitcase clicks, the door swings wide, I step outside, the world’s alive. The streets hum loud, a restless call, Yet inside, I feel emptiness fall. I travel far, the miles unwind, A searching heart, a restless mind Abut in the noise, my glow fades dim, Like stars unseen, a quiet hymn. Brothers fight, their voices sharp, A yet in the game, I find a spark The shuttlecock flies laughter rings, For a moment, peace the family brings. Amy violin waits but my Hans move slow, The music lost, the rhythm low. Yet in the chaos my soul can wake, A light within I start to take. The world spins on, but here I stay. In family’s love, I find my way. Although my glow dims, my heart’s still strong, Home’s where I know I still belong.
