What Home Means to Me

Home means more than four walls, windows, a door, and a roof. More than a wooden box. To me it means family, love ,support, kindness, and comfort. I like baking chocolate chip cookies, or making carrot cake with my mom. Also, I love having a thing to look forward to in the summer (Cultus Lake if you wanna know!) I find it really fun to do something as a family. When I get home I like to greet my puppy, and take her for a walk, have a snack, and watch TV. My home is very special because of all the memories. For me my room is more than a bed. To me, my room is a habitat for myself. A home for me is like a great big warm hug. Life is such a great way to meet new people and have new opportunities. As Christmas rolled around I watched the gleaming lights on the tree and smelled the delicious meals in the air. My dad and I are working on a dog house. It's all about how much love and care you give everyone. Home is filled with love, hope, support and even more. Even if it's less than walls, a roof. It still means so much to me. I love how everyone appreciates one another in my home, and the generous actions of my family. Thank you for helping people find their homes.
