My Home

When I am home there is no place like it. In the front I play in the yard with the trees and the grass. Everything is wonderful when I am home. The feelings I feel when I am at home. I feel so happy and sad. In I go into the house. In the house my mum, my dad and my pets are inside. I dance in the kitchen, the living room and my bedroom. I sit on the couch with my mum and dad. The walls are strong. They keep us safe. My mama makes dinner, and my father is funny. We play with the pets. As we play, we laugh, we sing, I smell mama making something to eat. Mama calls “dinner time”. Daddy and I raced to the kitchen. He wins the race!... But his chair is still empty. Mama plays the piano with care. I dance and sing I play and Leap! We dance all through the house up the stairs. The stairs of art! The wonderful art you see there! The love is strong the joy is pure. Mama is working. She Sings in a Booth down in the basement. I walk downstairs scared, maybe terrified! Mama comes. I am no longer frightened in mama ‘s arms. At night I put the pets to bed. Then I go to bed with mama and a prayer, my Dreams are as nice as a butterfly. At the break of day, I look through the window, the sky is pink and blue, sometimes purple! The sun pecking out. First sunlight on trees, a beautiful sight to see. A home is a place for precious moments, family, friends, and feelings. happiness, bravery, sadness, fear, silliness, and love. But happiness and sadness makes love complete! That’s why I love Home.
