HOME TO ME

A house is not a home, now just let me explain… A house may be big, medium or small, But a home is grand like a heart. A house may have four walls, But a home has big stacks of memories and joy. A house could be tiny or tall, or maybe have dormers on the outside walls, But a home is a place where I should be, playing in the backyard with my sister, and having as much fun as can be. A house may be inanimate, But a home is bright and beautiful. A house may be built on a hill, But my home is where I can be chill. A house could be black or blue, But a home is where kitty puts her paws in my shoes. A house is a shelter, but a home is a feeling. But now don't you see, a house is not a home, it is a building, you see. Thank you so much habitat for humanity for making this amazing and fun program happen.
