A House and a Home
A house can stand on any street,
Its purpose clear, it’s look complete.
But a home is where love aligns,
A treasure shaped by despair’s decline.
A house is made by construction,
But nobody cares on its introduction.
A home is built on hopeful belief,
Without even a trace of grief.
Both contain shelter of harm’s way,
Yet a home has no sign of decay.
There is a difference of the two,
And people don’t know the few.
So, know the difference, deep and true,
A house is nothing without you.
For it is love that makes a home,
Even a house can be more than a dome.
