Home is more than a House

Home is not the same as a house. A house is something you can touch and see, but home is more of a feeling. Sometimes home might not be where you live. Sometimes home might be anywhere but where you live. A house is a normal building, there are some walls, a few doors, and a couple of windows here and there, but a home is where there are people, having fun, sipping from a mug of nice warm hot chocolate, people partying, or maybe even just looking out the window enjoying life! Home is a great place to be after school. Home is where I can eat nachos with 200 pounds of cheese on top! Ok, maybe not 200 pounds, but still, I will grade and dump a ton of cheese on the chips. Home is where I can play video games, either with my friends, siblings, or try and teach my mom what a video game even is. Home is where I can eat pancakes in the morning for breakfast, and then I fill the plate with whipping cream and maple syrup and not tell anyone about it and pretend that never happened. Home is where I go outside in the winter and make a snow fort, then 2 days later ambush the fort for absolutely no reason at all. Home is the place where I try to make a video game, find a bug, then scream into my pillow “HOW DID I SCRIPT THAT WRONG?!?” Home is where I go to sleep in my cozy bed, and when I am, there is not a single peep.
