Meaning of Home

Home is much more then just a house. Home is a place where you are safe and loved. A house is empty and dark. A home is a place where I play with pets and if I’m sad I will always have someone to guide me through it, while a house is just a place you eat and sleep in a house you are alone. Home is where laughter and joy fills the air for everyone to hear. A house is not a place that seems safe but is a place that seems quiet. Home is the place where me and my family enjoy home cooked meals together. Although a house is just a place made out of brick, a home is what’s special to me. Home is the place where you and your family can sit down by the fireplace and tell jokes and make each other laugh and smile. Home is a part of me and will be forever. Home is where me and my family eat my dad’s famous steak and our faces light up with joy. That’s what makes home special to me. Home is my happy place.
