Meaning of home

When I was born, something went wrong. Very wrong. So I had to stay in the hospital for 2 months until I was finally allowed to go home. When I got there, all of my 5 pets greeted me. Immediately I felt welcome. I had 3 cats which were named: Diago, Pussa, and Diva. I also had 2 dogs. Both Golden Retrievers and they were named: Boston and Jersey. My mom was so happy to have me home, and I was too. As I started to learn and talk, my mom started to take more videos and pictures. I have loved my life, hanging out with my dog, my parents, my grandpa since he moved in. Then, a miracle happened… My sister was born! My sister Anastasia, had only 9 months to try and connect with my dog before he tragically died from heart cancer. It was very hard for us. Then Christmas came and I got the most beautiful gift I could ever get… My dog, who has died, got me a gift. As soon as I saw it, I broke down in tears. Happy and sad tears. I was so thankful for it, and ever since he died, I have gotten gifts from him every Christmas. Then, for my 7th Birthday, I got a new dog! I was SO happy!! I named him Maverick. At first when I got him, he was really small, but then the next morning he was HUGE!! Now I can ride him like a horse, he is so big. Then, I found some friends and it was great. Then I started to get more creative and I started to craft. It was one of my favourite fazes. Next thing I knew, I was in British Columbia!!! I celebrated my birthday and went and did A LOT of shopping! My dad said we spent $1000 just on shopping… I was surprised, but not SUPER surprised. That's what I think the meaning of home is.
