A Home To Me

I feel great in my home because I know that not only have I lived in my home since I was born but I also know I’m loved, I’m safe and I’m supported. I know I’m loved because my parents always make sure I’ve eaten. If we’re eating out and I want to try my parents’ food they’ll always let me. If there’s not enough food left for my family of six at supper time, they’ll always make sure I either know what to make or they’ll make food for me. I feel safe because of my dog. We could never bring him to a public place because of how much he would bark. Since he barks at even the smallest things I know he would be able to alert us if an intruder came into our home. I know I’m supported because my parents support my dances. Dance is expensive so the fact they can pay for it is comforting to me. They don’t only pay for it though they also drive me to the studio, and my mom helps me with my hair and makeup. I’m lucky to have a house but even luckier to have a home. My home is full of loving, caring, comforting, and safe people and that’s perfect for me.
