What Home Means To Me

I have lived in my home since I was born. It is the only house I have ever known. In my home I feel safe, loved, and I feel cared for. Here is what makes me feel this way in my home. I feel safe in my home because I know that my family is with me. Another reason that I feel safe in my home is that I know that if something bad was to happen my parents would protect me. I know that that my parents lock the door before we go to bed. Which keeps us safe. In my home I feel loved because every night before I go to bed, they come and say goodnight. I always know that there is a meal waiting for me. Something else that makes me feel loved is that my parents will drive me and pay for me to do extra-curricular activities even though they don’t have to. They do it because they love me. I am cared for because every night my family and I eat dinner together. Every day when I get home from school my family always asks how my day was. That is what makes me cared for. One day I will have to move out of this home and leave my family home. I will have a new home. With a new family of my own. That family will be my new loving kind and cared for family.
