What Does Home Mean to Me

Home is more than just four walls and a roof, with some windows. Home is a place where I feel safe and comfortable. Home is a place where I belong. Home is where I find my peace. Home holds beautiful memories and reminds us of our amazing childhoods. I had an old home that was not big. It was small but could fit me and my family, we were a family of seven. The house my dad bought was for $29,999 but the homeowner saw that we did not have a lot of money so she gave it to us for $20,000 and she even let my dad keep it. When my dad thanked her and asked her why she did that, she said “ the kindness you put out in the world always has a way of coming back to you”. Now she is a very successful doctor. And I still have not forgotten about her, her saying and my old home .House may have furniture that shines with toys, but home keeps my family safe and fine. House has video games and electricity, but home is as beautiful as a fantasy. If a loved one has passed away, home keeps the memories that they have had. A house has a fancy design on the wall, but home is the place where my mom first saw me crawl. To me home is more than a place to play and eat. Home is place filled with love and hope.
