What Home is to Me

I walk in the front door, my nose tingling with the smell of my sister’s vanilla perfume. I can’t wait to see her and tell the stories about my day. On my way to the kitchen my brother stops me we have a conversation, then I am on my way again. When I get to the kitchen, I have a snack and talk to my stepdad. I then go upstairs when I am about to open my door my mom stops me, “she asks about my day.” I say, “it was pretty good.” I am reading a book as I hear a knock at my door it’s my sister asking if I would like to go for a walk, I say “of course.” We are on our way now. As the sun begins to set it looks so pretty, I feel I am in a magical place. This is what home is to me every home is different, but I would never change this in a million years.
