Meaning of Home

When I think of home these are the three words I think about-cozy, safe and memories. Cozy is when I sit on the couch with a warm sweater watching a funny movie on Friday nights. with my grandma. drinking hot chocolate with a big melting marshmallow and eating warm baked chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven. Safe is feeling protected and comfortable. When my dog is around, he keeps me safe no matter what. My grandma makes me safe when she talks to me in a kind voice. Memories are everywhere in my home. It is where I took my first step and saying mom for the first time. Another memory is when my baby brother came home from the hospital and I saw him open his eyes. That is what home means to me.
