My escape

My house is the building I live in but my home is my room. My room is the place that I love the most in my house because it's the only place that's just mine, not anyone else’s. My room is like my little escape place, the place I go to when I want to get away from everything. I have had the same room since the day I was born and it is still my favourite place. I remember a time when I was very sick and tired so I wanted to relax in my room by myself all day and after a while of just lying in my bed and relaxing on my couch I felt so much better and a lot less tired that's why my room is my home. I also remember when I was little my aunt and grandfather painted two murals on my wall, one was one of my favourite Disney movies. It was Ariel from The Little Mermaid and the other one was a giant bear holding pink and yellow balloons ,and I was so excited about them. My room is comfy and it smells like the fresh warm pancakes my mom cooks for me every Saturday morning. My room's whole theme is pink. Almost everything in it is pink.
