What My Home Means To Me

The meaning of home is more than some set of walls and a roof, it is the feeling of warmth, joy and hope. A home is where love sprouts like an ever growing flower, where you wish to spend all of your waking hours. When I come home, even on the coldest days, I feel the rush of joy and love I have been waiting for all day. The comfort I feel at home is unmatched, it is such a beautiful place to have, when you feel you belong, your heart feels like it could sing a beautiful song all day long. The sound of my parents' warm voices calling me for dinner is such a wonderful sound to have around. I walk down the stairs, into a delicious aroma I sit down and devour the fantastic meal that has been prepared. I sit down after dinner on our comfortable couch in the living room and view the memories my family and I have made over the years, safe in their picture frames on the television stand I feel the love so priceless floating through our home in small invisible strands. That is the feeling of hope, love and joy that lives in a home, no matter where or what. There is no size too big or too small.
