What home means to me
When I think of home I think of a joyful family.
When I get home from school
I get to smell a tasty home cooked meal,
when not everyone does.
I see my siblings playing, parents cooking
and my dog is probably sleeping in my room (his favourite place).
I hear a fire crackling,
my family laughing and music playing.
It’s like a place that no matter what
you will always be safe.
The most important part about home
is the memories it holds.
I lost my first tooth at my house,
and my siblings came home from the hospital to my house.
My favourite thing is just the quality time
I get to spend with my family
because that's what really counts.
This is what home means to me.
