My Sanctuary

Home is where I enter when I feel the most relaxed Home is where anything can be anything Home is a castle where I’m the king I can go anywhere, I can do anything Home inspires me… and when I’m inspired There’s nothing that can stop me Home is creative, beautiful, and extremely unique Home is where I am powerful I can fight dragons and morph into anything I can crush boulders, or soar through the air like a bird Home is pretending to be a criminal, cop, or even a cat Whatever will make me happy in the moment Home has no boundaries, and no limitations It’s where I go when I’m stressed, or in a tight spot Home can energize me, or help me go to sleep It has helped me become a reader, a writer, a creator, and so many other things It’s where my thoughts run wild, twist and turn Home is my imagination, and I bring it with me wherever I go
