Lilly's Thought

Once upon a time…there was a cat named Lilly. She was extraordinary. She woke up one sunny morning and thought hmmm…. What is home? Although her mommy was right outside of the flappy door and overheard her. Her mommy pawed at the flappy door and Lilly meowed “come in.” Her mommy explained they overheard her asking that and they told her that a home is filled with something nobody could understand. Lilly nodded at her mommy and walked away. Lilly cleaned her shiny fur and jumped on Amy’s bed “LILLY!” Amy said. Sis I have something to ask you. “WHAT?! ”What is the meaning of home?” “Ugh you should ask yourself that now go eat breaky.” Yes sis, thank you!” “Not welcome!” I walked away “Lilly we have wet food!” “Yummy” “all done! “good job!” “mom?” “yes sweetheart?” “What is the meaning of home?” “Lilly I think it means lots of things.” “Thank you mom!” I walked outside in our backyard and now I have so many ideas! I walk inside and I heard this saying “a home is where the heart is.” I think it means you really love the home. So then she walks inside and thanks her mom for food, a roof over her head ,bed ,collar, stuffy, love. You are very welcome Lilly she “gives the home a hug and says thank you”{Out loud} The home says “your welcome.” Even if she can’t hear it , Thank you habitat for humanity for giving us people a roof over our head and kindness even if we never asked for it. And judges thank you for giving me this chance to do this I really enjoyed it.
