What Home Means to Me

A home means to be in a place you feel warm and cozy. A place where sweet scents fill the air. A place where you are loved and cared for and you are never harmed or taken for granted. A home is a place where your family shares laughter over a reminiscing fire while your pets and you lay on the couch with hot chocolate in your hand. That feeling when you’re watching your favorite movie, and you can hear popcorn cracking in the microwave. That sight of my family and I forming enormous waves in the pool and my dad cooking tender steaks on the barbeque. Iced tea being sipped on a hot summer day. That is what home means to me and why cannot everyone have one to feel that way?
