Meaning of a Home
One day Lola wanted to know the meaning of home. So she thought she should ask people. She first asked her sister who replied, "It's big."
"Thank you," Lola said.
Next she was going to ask her brother. He said, "It is a place where you live with your family."
Then she asked her mom, who didn’t answer so she decided to ask her dad. He said, "It has people you love and cherish."
She wanted to ask her friend across the street so she said to her mom, "Bye mom, I am going to Mia’s home."
Then she went to her house, her friend Mia let her in, so they went to Mia’s room. Then she asked, "Do you know what a home means?"
She took time and then replied, "Sorry, I do not know Lola."
"It is okay, Mia," Lola replied.
Then Lola left her room and went home. When she came back home, she went to her room upstairs. When she went upstairs she got her laptop and searched up the meaning of a home. She went on many websites and every website had different meanings so she took time to think. Then it came to her mind: home can mean different things even though it is only one word.
