An Essay On Home

A feeling of belonging comes across my body when I think of home. The living room feels cozy because that’s where I play board games with my family and friends. Also, watching movies on Christmas eve with those same people makes it relaxing. My bedroom is where I relax before and after school and I get my work done. When I hear my sister yell at me to clean my room that’s how I know I am home. My driveway radiates a feeling of memories through my body. All the hills, rocks and grass tell me that I am home. My kitchen is where a lot of my heart is. It's where I eat, get water and talk to my family. The kitchen is the hub for all the food, but snacks are one of my favorites to get from there. My bedroom, living room, kitchen and driveway are what make me feel that I am home. It will always be my safe place. So, come in. Everyone is welcome in my home.
