Home

Home is defined as "two walls and a roof," defined by its look but never how it feels. Home is a place where worries drift. When your feet touch that floor and waves of memories wash over your mind as you see a familiar door that leads to new beginnings and ends of days, birthdays, new years, new gifts, and even new lives. In a house where children continue to grow, to where there are no longer children, and then one day you'll be saying, "yeah, that's the house me and Uncle grew up in!" It's where the smells of new recipes lurk, and childhood shows, and memories stay, even if you leave. Where phases upon phases sit in your closet, unattended, where years of different haircuts sit beneath the walls. Where one day you'll pack up your stuff and call that house a simple memory.
