My 'Meaning of Home'
Home is where I feel happiness and pride. Home is where we abide. Home is the only place I want to go when I’m really excited or upset.
All are welcomed in this home, to talk, to play, to eat. As I walk into my home from school, I smell my mom making rice and the most delicious Indian curry.
Home is where we get together and in our living room and talk and play cards.
Downstairs is where we snuggle up and watch TV. It is also the place where me and my siblings play tag and have pillow fights.
My room is where I get peace and quiet from my siblings, though it’s very messy. My sister and I share a room which is fun because we just talk the night away. Sometimes my brother joins but not all the time.
Home is where I get a book and read. Home is where I feel relaxed and sleep.
Home is where my parents wait for me and my siblings to get home. I gently walk up on our snowy driveway and try not to slip, just like my nacho chips.
As I walk into my home I see my mom, she hugs me tightly until I feel calm. When I go into my room, I gently put down my stuff, I go into the kitchen to have plenty of delicious food.
Home is a really special place to me, so that is where I’m supposed to be.
So welcome to my wonderful home.
