What I Think Home Means

When most people think of home they imagine walls and a roof, but a home is so much more than that. A home is where you feel warm and safe, like a big cozy blanket of selflessness. The care and compassion that a family brings is simply unbeatable, with every room flowing with solicitude. Home is a place where you can feel comfortable being yourself and so can others. Home should give you a warm and cozy feeling whenever you step inside. A home is like the glue to your family that will never break apart. When you step into the kitchen the aroma of home cooked meals fills your heart. A house is a structure, but a home is a shining light powered by love. Home is a place where you don’t need a big fancy house to enjoy yourself. When you step into any room the bittersweet taste of childhood nostalgia creeps inside of you holding on tight and never letting go.
