What Does 'Home' Mean?

Home is when I walk through the white door to the big warm welcome mat where I lay my shoes on the rack and hang my coat on the hook. It is where you can smell the pleasing smell of home. When you walk upstairs to the kitchen to a tiny glance of the delightful food you can see through the oven door and the heavenly smell of the dish you cannot wait to eat for dinner. The dining room is where family can gather and enjoy wonderful food. Where you can feel the warmth and love being shared. When I am home, I feel comforted and loved. home is where you spend time with family and friends. To me at home I feel safe. Home means peace.
