What Does Home Mean to Me

Home is not a house of bricks. Home is a cozy place where every person is welcomed. Home is a house with lots of fun and love. Home is a place where it is not cold and everybody should love each other. Home is a place where it is safe, kind and warm. Home is a place where it is playful and everyone participates and no discluding. Home is a place where it is like a blanket, it is warm and gentle. Home is a place that has a warm fireplace but when you're not at home it can be cold and snowy. Home is a place where I can always count on my family to play soccer with me. Home is a place where everyone respects each other's traditions; I am Portuguese and I am proud of that. Home is a place where any one is welcome even if they have a different culture or religion. Home is a place where everyone’s house should feel like a home. Home is a place where you can swim and do all your favorite hobbies, activities, sports and practice things you like. Home is a place where no one makes fun of each other about their differences. Thank you Habitat for Humanity Canada for helping provide homes for those in need.
