Meaning of Home

Imagine you are in a family that can’t afford a stable home, have not made loving memories, and have a house without the feeling of home. I can't, because I have all those things. Firstly, the most important part of home to me is family. They support me by caring for me when I am sick or hurt, driving me to sports, and most importantly, always supporting me. Home means memories to me because I have made many exciting ones here in Okotoks. For example, one of my favorites was our family reunion in 2020. All of my extended family on my dad’s side came over. And we got to play with cousins and go rappelling at the Big Rock. My backyard means home to me because I am out there a lot whether it’s with friends, family, or just by myself. I have had many amazing times in my backyard going down the slip and slide, ziplining, bouncing on the trampoline, sledding, or playing thunderball. That is what home means to me, but I want you to imagine your home and what it means to you.
