The Meaning of Home
I had a friend named Lucas that had a home and lost it. When he did not have a home, he lived with us. We were trying to help, but we could not.
Then Habitat for Humanity came and gave him a home. I thank you for giving people a home. A home protects you from weather. Without Habitat for Humanity, Lucas was roaming the streets, but now he is doing good in life. He used to not have a family, but now he does. He is doing well. He has a wife and kids; the names of the kids are Junior and Lucas.
The kids have lots of fun at their new house. They have grass to play on and a garage and everything that you can think of. The kids' friend’s name is Cam. Cam and some other guys come over and have barbecues. They have a pool, and I went in. It was fun.
They had a huge birthday party, and I gave them a rocket ship. It will fly, and they said, “Thank you.” It was a blanket, and I got them Lego sets. They had lots of barbecue. I love them a lot, but they moved away. I really like them, but at least they had a good life when they were here.
A house is a house, and a home is a place where a family roams. A home is a loving place. Hugging is everywhere when you are at home. Family always keeps you up in life. When my sister is annoying sometimes, then I usually come back down and forgive her. A house is a house, but without a family it's not called a home. A house is a place where kids have fun.
