Home
What does home mean to me? Home is not a place but it is people. It’s a place where you can go and feel safe. It's a place that you can go and let out your emotions and feel loved and important. The feeling of being home is indescribable and amazing. It's something special .
My home is where I grew up and will continue to grow and learn. I could never imagine not living in the house I live in now because it may be a structure with four walls but it’s also a place that holds memories. It has grown up with me from my first steps to running around playing hide and seek with my older brothers. My house is unique because we share it with other people as well. No, I don’t mean family, but we have foreign people that live with us. They are the best. First, we had a family of Spanish people. They had two little boys but they went back to Mexico. After that we welcomed a Filipino family and they have a little boy around my age and a baby sister. My brothers and I love playing with the boy. We love having them in our house.
Home is a special place and you shouldn't take advantage of it because some people don’t have one. You may not believe it, but you are way more blessed than a lot of people and it can be hard to not have a house. So make sure you let people know how grateful you are to be so blessed with a roof over your head and a place to stay warm and safe. Home is an intangible feeling of love and familiarity. You should know how lucky you are and be grateful when you go home. I hope this makes you feel blessed to have a home.
