Meaning of Home

Once upon a time there was a girl named Ellie. She went to school one day. And her teacher started talking about the meaning of home. She had to write about the meaning of home. When she got home she started thinking and thinking. She finally thought about something to write. Ellie wrote a poem. It went like this: home is a place with walls and a roof, home is a place with rooms and beds and so on. It was pretty long. She thought it was a A+, but when Ellie got to school that day. Her teacher gave Ellie a C-. She was so surprised and angry she didn't know how to feel. Ellie's teacher said you had to write about the true meaning of home. Home is not just walls and a roof home is a place with joy and happiness. After school that day Ellie thought and thought and finally she knew what to write about. She wrote a story and her teacher gave that a A+ but remember. Home is a place with joy, fun and love. Thank you. Habitat for humanity for giving everyone joy, fun and love.
