A Home Has the Real Truth

When you walk into the entryway so large it is truer than true with peace at heart. Especially when you get a greeting from the fur balls themselves. But don't be dismayed when you walk into the kitchen, because that is where my mom makes her famous Thanksgiving. If you're looking for a quick snack, just walk into the pantry, where your heart will be beating with hunger, then you'll stop by the fridge and get a whole supper. But after you have had your supper, behold the den, where families talk together. And talk about the future, as long as it takes, to lead us down a new path to our new adventures. But don't be frightened when you walk into the living room, because that is where new eras perform, sometimes sadness, sometimes action. But with a heartbeat so big it can turn into laughter. But when you walk into the endless hall, where the basement beholds another unstoppable walk, of laughter and love. It will grow as big as a heartbeat itself. But when you walk past the basement, then you will see stairs, just take a few steps and you will see a tremendous door. It may just look like an ordinary door to people, but on the other side it has a lot of stuff that I am so very grateful for. Maybe you just think it is stuff, but everything in that room beholds a memory to love. But across the room you will see a person who is very special to me. It may just be a room, but that room is one place where my sister can feel safe, so I know I can feel safe there too. And when I go to sleep, I can feel safe because my sister and my parents are right across the hall from me. But in the day you might need some fresh air, so just go out the door and don't be scared, because outside is where tulips bloom and grow as smooth as a petal bouquet. But you can look up and see your house in the sky, and always remember, a house is not a home. You always walk into a home and feel safe, but when you walk into a house you feel different. And you won't have a heartbeat so big as you have in a home.
