The Story Of Home

Once upon a time there was a little mouse who was gathering food for his family. But then an owl scooped him up! The mouse said, “Please put me down!” The mouse did not know what to do, but then he thought and said, “Mr Owl, if you're so wise then you should take him.” They looked down from the sky and saw another mouse. “He's plumper than me," the owl thought. Then he said, “It's better to have the mouse I already have." The mouse was out of ideas when out of the blue the owl said, “I'm sorry. I just have to bring food to my family.” But then the mouse said, “Well, I was just trying to get food for my home. I know we both have families, and we both have our challenges.” But the owl didn't reply. The mouse was worried. But then a wisp of smell went through the air. It was the smell of Mr. Owl’s childhood. He remembered all the good memories he had at his home. He would laugh and play all day, have adventures with his family, and always count on them. He realized the mouse had family too. He also realized how everybody has a place to go when they feel sad but also a place to laugh and play and enjoy every day. So the wise owl let him down and said, “Have a good day Mr. Mouse.” Mr. Owl never forgot that. He started to care for others a bit more, and he never forgot about his home. Love your family and home for what it is.
