Meaning Of Home

A home is not a house, it's much more than that. A home can be where your friends and family are. Or it can be where you have value. Home doesn’t have to be a place at all, home can be a feeling or a sense of belonging. My home has many places, every nook and corner is special in its own way, such as the kitchen. The kitchen is full of a mix of aromas all the way from pasta to zucchini cake, it makes my mouth water. The living room is a great place to spend time with family and make connections and bonds. It's also an excellent place to play board games and watch movies. My bathroom has a decoration which says “This home is full of endless love… and laundry”. It always makes me laugh and brightens up my day. My bathroom smells like soap, air freshener and toothpaste. My backyard has a lot of flowers and plants, it smells like grass and soil. Occasionally we can get rabbits, cats or squirrels in our backyard. The bedrooms, a place where you will retreat to at the end of the day and you will walk out fully refreshed and ready for whatever the day will bring. The smell of the fresh and clean bed-sheets, and the feeling of the toasty and snug blankets wrapped around you make you feel like everything will be okay. Then we have the office where all the laptops are, the sound of the soft clicking of the keys fills the air. The office is a great place to go if you need peace and quiet. Each and everything I talked about above is part of the home I know and cherish. Everyone deserves a home.
