Home Grown

Home Grown Home is like a garden, I watched us all bloom. A house is where we work hard in, A home is where we warmly laughed in our room. The water and the sunlight make us blossom, A house is not nearly as awesome. I feel comfortable in my home, I do not feel alone. A house is like thorns, A home has strong petals. Houses may feel like wars, Home works on a lot of levels. The potted plants bottle up your feelings, While a home will leave you healing. Houses feel firm like a flower with a hard stem, While a home causes no mayhem. We’ll see the sun peeking through the trees, Home makes life a breeze. You’ll see a building made with bricks, I’ll see a building with memories and wholesome tricks.
