Meaning of House vs Home
If you think a house is the same thing as a home, you're wrong. There is a huge difference! A house is built with stone, bricks, and wood. But a home is built out of love, happiness, and warmth. I'm going to be talking about stuff like a home is a special place where you can be yourself and somewhere you feel comfortable, as for a house it's just a place that you don’t know very well and has no happiness. A house is not a home.
A home is a place where you feel comfortable, it's where you can be weird, and not be embarrassed, because it is a place you can be yourself. It can also be very familiar because you have your own comforts there. So as long as you have somewhere you can call home, you will always be cozy!
A home is where you can be yourself and it is where you can laugh and dance around and be loud without being judged, it is where you don't need to change your personality to be accepted and it is a safe space to show off your true self.
A house is just a place, because a house is somewhere that has walls and a roof to protect you from bad weather, but a home has more than that. It has memories, love and warmth. A house has sadness and loneliness but a home has happiness and joy surrounding it. Some people don't even get to know the feeling of being able to have a house, meanwhile people that have a loving home, take having one for granted.
So this is all the things i've learned for habitat for humanity. They give people a place that gives them comfort, where they make memories, and a safe place they can call home. They save people from being on the streets for maybe even their whole life. Thank you to Habitat for humanity for being awesome!!
