House vs Home
People think a house is the same as a home, well it's not. A house is just some walls and a roof that you feel lonely in, but a home is where you feel safe and cozy.A home is different then a house. A home has memories, and safety. A home has meaning.
A home has love when we show love to family and friends, and when we put pictures up and decorate. How we show love is when we clean and care for our home. When we put colors on the wall and a welcome mat when you walk in the front door. You might not see love in a house but you see love in a home and a home has a different unique love that is not in a house.
In our home we can feel safe when we lock our doors and we shut our blinds for privacy. We feel safe in a home when we put our furniture in it. When we go to a friend's house we don't feel like we're in our home anymore, we feel like we're in a house where we are not ourselves.A home is a safe place because you can feel like yourselves. A home is your whole life but a house is just a place you live in.
When a home has memories you should see pictures on the wall of you and your family. A home is a memory when you hangout with friends and family. When you make memories you bake and make sweets and crafts. A home has memories when you give and love your family. A home has memories when you live there your lifetime and when you care. A home has family but a house just has you.
So when we talk about house vs home, you can see which one has more meaning. When you look at a home you will see lots of things that are meaningful like your room. Your room is special and unique to you. Also a home has a feeling that a house doesn't have. As you can see a home has lots of meaning. When you think of it, a home has love wherever you go. When you walk into a home you can feel safe and loved.A home can cheer you up and make you happy. My home might be different then a house, but that's the whole purpose, because YOU need to make it a HOME.
