House vs Home

Home is made up of love but a house is just bricks and stone. Is your home special to you? My home is special to me. A home is more special than a house. When you walk in your home do you feel special and loved? Because I know I do. We have traditions in our home, not our house. We have a lot of memories at my home. I can feel safe at home. That's why you should be grateful for your home because some people don't have a home. When I walk in my home I feel special and I feel loved. I am so grateful to have a safe and loving home. When I walk in my home I see memories from baking in the kitchen or watching movies in the family room as well as laughter throughout the house. I also see my really great siblings. I have 4 amazing loving siblings who I can count on. No matter how many times we fight we still love each other. Every halloween we have a HUGE party with family and friends. We play a bunch of games, order pizza and have a bonfire. It's a really awesome night. Some of the games we play are apple bobbing,maze,marshmallow tower, card games and more. It is so much fun Every christmas eve we go skating. When we get home we bake cookies and watch a movie. After the movie is finished we change into our PJ’s and then after we read Twas the Night Before Christmas we set out cookies and milk on our reindeer plate me and my siblings made when I was 4. On christmas morning we wake up at 8. When I'm at home I feel comfy. Home has my comfy bed with my soft pillows and blankets. I lay in the same spot every night. My favorite comfy sweater is always in the same spot every day. Therefore when I'm at home I'm always comfy. When you are at home you're comfortable. You should be grateful for your home because some people aren't as lucky as you are. Some live in cars,tents and the cold hard ground. You are lucky that you have a safe and loving home. Some people have a home but it's not safe physically. This Habitat For Humanity project made me realize that I should be grateful for my safe and loving home.
