The Best Home

My home is the best home you could ever ask for because I feel safe, loved and especially grateful for what I have. I can’t ask for more! Habitat for Humanity will help other families to feel this way. My parents make my home feel safe because they are always right with me and they always do everything with me. The neighbourhood that I live in is really nice and there are neighbours that are now my friends and I like to do everything and now we play like every day. My family makes me feel loved because of all the stuff they do for me and they don’t let anything bad happen to me. They buy me stuff, they sign me up for sports like, sports camp basketball camp/ clippers, hockey, basketball, PEC soccer, indoor soccer, 4 on 4 hockey and baseball. They also ask my friend’s parents if they want to have a playdate or something like that. My home is a loving place. I feel happy as soon as I walk in my door because of all of the fun stuff I can do like play nintendo, play board games, play on my ipad, play basketball outside, shoot pucks in the garage, play soccer in my backyard, ride my bike, build forts outside, go in my hot tub, play with my neighbours or even ride my snowmobile or four-wheeler depending on the season. I am so grateful and think all kids should have the opportunity to live in a home in a nice neighbourhood. Habitat for Humanity helps deserving families build houses and make homes for themselves where they can feel safe, loved and grateful too. Bentley Hicks
