Home Is Not Just A House

My pets are very important to me. They are important to me because they are the ones who comfort me the most. When I hear my pets walking I feel a tingle of comfort run down my spine. I know they will come into my room and sleep on my chest. When I feel my cat I feel at home. When I listen to thunderstorms I feel at home here’s why. The second I hear my parents come to wake me up I get this feeling that I can barely describe. It's like when you get something you’ve wanted to do or to have for a very long time. Then all of a sudden you get to do it or you get to get it. When I'm outside and I catch a little crackle from in the clouds. I know I will see and hear the big but calming burst of sound and light. When I hear and see it I feel at home. When I'm not at home all I can think about is memories of home. When I watched thunderstorms all night long. Then when I think of those memories I work harder or fall asleep faster so I can live those memories the next day. When I have those memories I feel at home. Freedom, in my house I have lots of freedom. I think everyone should have freedom or else you can't express the way you feel properly. When I was younger it felt like I was trapped in a box and I couldn't let anyone know who I really was. However everything changed when I got older it was like somebody had enough courage to break me free. Once I was able to let people know who I really was, I felt at home.
