A House vs Home Explanations

What is a house? It’s bricks and stones and wood that's hard, Some glass windows and perhaps a yard. It’s chimneys and tile floors with of course a lot of doors. But then what is a home? It’s loving and filled with family like brothers and sisters and fathers and mothers. It’s where you feel that you belong and where you can be yourself. Houses need things like renovation for new paint, roofs, rooms, floors and they need to be restored. But homes don't need to be restored. Home is the place where you live with your loved ones, and it’s special to you. A house is just a roof, floor and walls but a home is where you bring your friends to play. Home is where you sleep at night and where you wake up in the morning. The walls of a house are just plain white and cold but the walls of a home are filled with warmth and filled with pictures of the past that brings back memories every time you look at them. So you see that is the difference between a house and a home.
