What Home Means to Me

Home is coming home to my grandpa and father everyday after school. Home is tasting and smelling the delicious food my grandpa is cooking. Home is the last warm and comforting hug I got from my nan. Home is the feeling of my father’s warm and comforting hug I get when I’m sad or upset. Home is waking my dad up at 3 Am on Christmas. Home is playing video with my father. Home is the time I spend drawing in the dining room. Home is painting eggs for Easter with my dad. Home is laying on my warm bed while listening to k-pop. Home is when I’m fangirling over my favorite k-pop idols with my dad. Home is my dad helping me put up anime posters in my room. Home is wherever my family is. Home is going to the beach for the first time with my dad and his girlfriend. Home is the cozy blankets I got from my family for Christmas over the years. Home is the cuddly stuffed animals I sleep with every night. Home is the last warm wool sweater my nan gave me. My home is my family and friends. I’m so lucky to have a safe and loving home. I love my family and home!
